OUR MADE-TO-MEASURE PROCESS

The fitting and fabric

During your fitting, we will take your measurements and study elements of your body shape and posture. Following this, we will create your pattern from an existing ‘block’ which is then adapted to fit your individual measurements.

Our fabrics come from the very best mills in many weights, weaves and colours and we will help you select the perfect cloth from our wide range.

The cut

Your individual pattern is then cut and constructed by both hand and machine, giving you a superior and bespoke finish within four to six weeks.

We offer two different types of construction within the jacket:

Half-Canvas - This construction is made up of layers of natural materials and fusing. The canvas will flow from the shoulder through the chest and which is then finished with a fine layer of fusing. To give the lapel a clean finish and natural roll we continue to run the canvasing into the lapel.

Full-Canvas - This construction is made up of natural materials and horsehair. The hair is woven into the floating chest piece which adds weight but also helps mould to the chest and retain the shape and adds longevity. The canvas runs through the entire front of the jacket which is ideal for lightweight fabrics.

The canvasing will continue to flow into the lapel and curve gently towards the body and sit neatly against the chest.

Your suit

Your suit is sewn and finished to the highest standards. You can add bespoke touches from a full floating canvas to hand-stitched button holes. For the final details, there’s a wide range of buttons and a choice of the finest lining materials in a variety of colours and patterns.
